Currently based at the Charity office at Woodside, Broomfield Hospital, will be relocating shortly to Hatfield Peverel.

£18,000 - £22,000 per annum

35 hours per week Monday to Friday

The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is looking for a Finance Assistant with excellent data analytical skills to provide day to day assistance to the Finance Controller. The key responsibilities will be:
- Assist with the financial database administration
- Assist with the Cybertill administration
- Assist with the financial information from the Support Centres and Shops
- Manage Petty Cash
- Assist with processing of financial documents
- Assist with payments & banking related tasks
- Handle any financial enquiries from any other departments or external parties
- Assist at fundraising events
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience of working within an Accounts office in a financial capacity
- Previous financial administration experience
- Knowledge and experience of using SAGE LINE 50 and SQL databases
Technical Skills
- Excellent IT skills particularly highly competent in the use of
- Excel including pivot tables, look up tables and formulae are essential
- Excellent data analytical skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office 2010
- AAT qualified, or equivalent
- Numerate to GCSE level (Grade C or better)

- Bright, honest, trustworthy, hard working, motivated, enthusiastic, friendly, and confident person
